Jessica Walker (Athena)
Studying this hero gives a very small bonus to all four of your Mechs' skills. If Athena is your hero, in addition to the daily studies conducted in the Hall of Heroes, you can gain Hero Points by winning battles against other commanders who study Aphrodite or Hera.

- Quote: “War is the ultimate craft and I craft victory”
Gaining some of the highest aptitude scores in battlefield strategy and military tactics seen in some 20 years, it was only natural that Jessica raced up the ranks after joining the military. Her planning and careful attention to every fine detail has resulted in a string of victories on her records.
Generally well liked and one of the more “normal” military commanders. Positions under her command are often fought over by the rank and file. Jessica has been part of the military for a very long time and loves to uphold the standards and traditions of the armed forces. This often has her at odds with other, less conventional officers, especially reckless ones with an army of noisy dogs. However, she does understand that these people get the job done and as such tends to simply ignore them.
The only odd thing about her is her lack of any actual weakness. Though many have looked for the secret to beating Jessica at her own war games, it strongly seems to be the case that there isn’t one. Though obviously her plans are not flawless, there is no real weakness in them such that an enemy (or bitter ally) might get the one up on her.
Clever and methodical, she wrote many good books on modern strategy. When warfare switched to implants and remote Mech control, she was one of the first to volunteer for the surgery and actually helped to refine many of the early designs.
Jessica, sadly, is currently on ice. After the sector 3 A.I. incident, her tactical books and research is now kept in the hall of heroes. It is hoped that perhaps some of her research may lead to a cure for the commanders in cryogenic-freeze.
