Hero points are gained through daily studies of your hero's teachings in the Hall of Heroes in Sector 3, and by defeating other commanders who study your hero's rivals. The amount of Hero Points you have determine how much your Hero Bonus will be.
Changing HeroesEdit
You can change which Hero you follow at any time. Your first Hero change is free, but any change after the first costs 12% of your Hero Points, or 20% if you choose to switch to one of your current Hero's rivals.
Hero BonusEdit
Damage effects are applied as a bonus to any damage your Mechs deal, and are half as powerful as Single Skill effects. Generalisation effects boost all four of your Mechs' skills and are one third as powerful as Single Skill effects. Both Generalisation and Single skill effects are applied as a percentage of a Mech's Average Skill, not as a percentage of the skill being affected, hence negative effects may push a skill down to the minimum value of 1.

- h -> Current Hero Points total
- t -> Current Tier (ex: for [17,000 ; 68,200[ -> t = 4)
- a -> Upper limit of current Tier (ex: for [17,000 ; 68,200[ -> a = 68,200)
- b -> Lower limit of current Tier (ex: for [17,000 ; 68,200[ -> b = 17,000)
